This program is for 6 to 10 year old kids living in the Strathcona Heights community.

Program will run on Mondays from 5-6:15PM at the Youville Centre (150 Mann Ave, Ottawa, ON, K1N 8P4).

Program will start February 10th, 2020 and the last session will take place on April 20th, 2020.

First Class Coaching Every Monday 

As a player, Mike was a High School All-Canadian and went on to captain the Carleton University Ravens Men’s Basketball Team that won 3 Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) National Championships during his career.

Once his playing days were over Mike channeled his energies towards helping others learn the game. Taking his invaluable experiences as a player and camp director while in university, Mike has transitioned to basketball clinician, trainer and coach. Currently a certified high school teacher, Mike is fulfilled by helping to mold, instruct and lead the next generation of basketball players.

The Strathcona Tigers is an after school sports and
recreation program for youth residents living in the
Strathcona Heights area in downtown Ottawa.

The goal is to engage youth in different programs in
various locations in the area so they can take
advantage of the benefits of sport and recreation
